The Timberline Sonata [CF:494-03101]

Lias is a master at describing the variety of natural wonders through music. During a two-week stint as Artist-in-Residence at Rocky Mountain National Park, he chose to put his thoughts into prose, later translating text into a trumpet sonata over the ensuing months. Four powerful scenes are represented, from the awe of Arrival to The Ascent to Longs Peak across rugged terrain.
