Le Maugré was a terrible act of vengeance perpetrated by the wronged peasants over their right to farm at the end of the 15th century and beginning of the 16th century in the village of Maubray, situated in the province of Hainaut in Belgium. In six scenes, Andre Waignein tells us the story of this dreadful history in one of the most beautiful regions in Belgium.
