Three Grand Duos For Two Guitars. Volume Ii - Duos Iv-V-Vi.
Instrumentation: guitar.

Franz Joseph Haydn. Arr. Francois De Fossa. Ed. Jan De Kloe.
Editions Orphée presents the second volume of Three Grand Duos for classical guitar duet, following up the earlier release of Volume I. Eighteenth century French classical guitarist and composer François de Fossa adapted numerous pieces by Haydn for two classical guitars, originally written for arrangements such as string quartet, keyboard, and symphony orchestra. De Fossa largely transposed each piece to be more guitar-friendly, but some also remain in difficult keys, such as A-flat. Haydn's talent for keeping up with the musical trends of his time provided de Fossa with ample opportunity to pick and choose certain movements and fit them together stylistically. These volumes also contain the expertise of Belgian classical guitarist and editor Jan de Kloe, who rescued these fine works from the Library of the Konkinklijk Conservatorium in Brussels and made them available to classical guitarists around the world. For intermediate to advanced players.
