Emulating the music of Bob Brookmeyer, Maria Schneider and Gil Evans, this creative original opens with a haunting melody played by solo flugelhorn before the burning swing groove kicks in. Solo choruses later on feature flugel and tenor, and the chart ends on a quiet note. Recorded by the University of North Texas One O'Clock Lab Band on the CD Lab 2009. Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued. Duration 7:39.
