Two Lieder - High Voice [CF:UE037983]

Universal Edition presents new practical editions of Strauss songs, after the text of the Richard Strauss Werke Critical Edition. The Zwei Lieder, Frühlingsgedränge (“Voices of Spring”) and O wärst du mein! (“O, wert thou mine!”), from Opus 26 date to 1891-1894, at which point Strauss had already written more than 150 lieder. The present edition includes English translation by John Bernhoff.
