Two Monteverdi Madrigals [Alf:81-BQ9948]

The multiple volumes of madrigals written by the great Claudio Monteverdi have been performed and recorded extensively. These two madrigals, Cruda Amarilli and Chiome DÂıOro, are very different in style and tempo. Each could be performed individually or together as a set. The vocal nature of the parts is perfect for the singing sound of the brass quintet.
