Originally scored in the late 1970's for the San Francisco Symphony Summer Workshop Jazz Band and recently updated for publication, this fantastic flag-waver for developing groups is the perfect program opener or closer. Set in a driving up-tempo swing feel, solos for alto sax and trumpet can be negotiated using the notes of a single scale.
